Family Fun Ride Support

During July and August of 2008 we will host a series of free, fun, and safe family rides. We need 4 volunteers per event to support the ride leader, children and families during the rides. more info …

Bike Club Assistant

Our Bike Clubs are free, youth earn-a-bike after-school programs where low-income 9 to 12 year olds learn safe riding skills and basic bike maintenance, and have the chance to build their confidence as cyclists. We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to provide support to our paid instructors, assisting in neighborhood rides and in implementing lesson plans. more info . . .

Community Cycling Center Outreach Team

Join our team and help spread the word about the Community Cycling Center. Local supporters invite us to events throughout the Portland Metro area and we need your help so that we can be at them all. We are looking to build a team of Outreach Volunteers who will attend community events and raise the awareness of the Community Cycling Center. more info . . .

Adult Class Instructor Support

Are you interested in sharing your bike mechanic and commuting skills with Portland adults eager to learn? We are looking for skilled volunteers who can support our different adult classes throughout the year. These classes include Urban Cycling, Women’s Urban Cycling, Family Cycling and the three levels of our Bike Maintenance classes. more info …

Adult Earn-a-Bike Workshop Support

This fall, we’re bringing this great program to the community. We’re holding events at great organizations such as Central City Concern, Transitional Projects, Cascadia Behavioral Health Services, Volunteers of America, and El Programa Hispano. We need a volunteer at each of our events to provide classroom support to paid instructors during adult earn-a-bike workshops. more info …
