Demystify your patch kit!

The next session of our popular Urban Cycling class begins September 8thSara teaching

A great class to take with a friend, our Urban Cycling class is designed for anyone interested in learning basic bike maintenance and how to ride safely in urban settings.

Over five weekly sessions, we will cover:
• Pre-ride safety checks
• Important monthly maintenance, and
• Understanding when it is best to bring your bike to a professional mechanic.

We will specifically cover how to fix a flat tire, bicycle cleaning, and brake pad replacement, among other maintenance lessons. All of our lessons are presented in non-technical language. All participants will work on their own bikes in class and have lots of opportunities to ask questions.

We will go on two to three group rides to cover the fundamentals of riding safely and will work to understand your individual goals – whether it is to become a daily commuter, ride for errands and local trips, or improve your health – and help you build the knowledge, skills, and confidence to achieve it.

A basic “for the road” toolkit and bike maps are included. Registration is capped at 12 and this session is already half full – sign up today!
