Get Wild With Holiday Bike Drive
The final installment of our Holiday Bike Drive Trilogy is cleaned, repaired, and ready to go. Meet the one we call Tierra del Fuego. He’s one part fire, one part storm, and one part wild! (Tempered by a healthy dose of bike safety, of course.)
Little Fuego came to us a little battered, but in pretty good shape. With his bright colors and willful personality, he clearly stood out among the Holiday Bike Drive hopefuls.
On November 30, MS Kim & Todd Harbaugh had a good time getting Fuego cleaned up as part of a group of 25 volunteers who came from Adidas to help out. The Community Cycling Center is so thankful to groups like these who brave the wind and cold for hours on end, all in the name of Holiday Bike Drive!
Longtime volunteer Dave McQuery (whose favorite Community Cycling Center volunteer activity is certainly Holiday Bike Drive) had the honor of putting the final mechanic touches on Fuego. As you can see, he brilliantly shines and now sports a brand new pair of training wheels. Like America and Gamma, Fuego will each be going home this weekend with a child of their very own! Watch for updates next week to find out who…
