Join us for the Equity Ride
Join us tomorrow evening, August 25th, for the second annual Equity Ride. Organized by the Oregon Department of Transportation, the Equity Ride will showcase the work that is being done to improve resources in East Portland. Leaving from Lents Park, the ride will travel down the I-205 multi-use path, a route that ODOT has been working hard to transform into a world-class bike facility.
The ride will stop at four developments in the Lents area, riding a total of 6.5 miles. At each location, speakers from sponsoring groups will discuss how their work is impacting equity and what future projects are being planned.
We’re very happy to be signed on as a sponsor of the Equity Ride and hope you will accompany us on this exciting journey. We will be leading a ride from our shop at 1700 NE Alberta, meeting at 4pm, to the start location in Lents Park, 9.5 miles away. Helmets are required, lights and water are recommended.
