Product Review: Bike Cozy Tool Roll
By Christopher Hamann, Retail Supervisor
As the buyer at the Community Cycling Center, I am always looking for local and fresh new items for our bike shop. I knew when I came across these tool rolls by Bike Cozy, that I’d found just that. They’re the cute and easy way to carry your basic tools around town.
Do you ever wish you had your essential tools at hand on a ride? You never know what problems you might encounter on the road. A loose bolt? A quick brake adjustment? A flat tire? Bike Cozy tool rolls are your answer. Locally made in Portland by the one and only Rachel db, they are a small answer to a variety of problems on the road.
Toll rolls are available in a variety of colors to fit your own style and come equipped with all the necessary basics:
- 3 L-hex wrenches: 4, 5, 6mm
- Double-sided wrenches in 8/10mm and 9/11mm
- Pair of tire levers
- 4 circle patches
- Sandpaper square
- Tire boot
Or you can buy a tool roll without tools and add your own personal tool palette.
Everything fits tightly rolled up in its canvas sleeping bag, held together by a velcro strap. Throw it in your bag, jersey or pannier on your next ride for ease of mind. Tool rolls also make the perfect gift for your favorite casual or serious cyclist. With tools ($40) or without ($24), they won’t break the bank. Come by the shop to check them out for yourself.
