That’s A Wrap! 30th Anniversary Event Recap
Many thanks to everyone who came out to celebrate our 30th Anniversary last weekend. You all made it a truly special day! We had so much fun watching everyone try their hand at our silly DIY carnival games, though we must admit it’s hard to beat the face painting booth, and the bounce house. They were both jam-packed with kids all day long!
Other highlights include volunteers pedaling our Icicle Tricycle around full of Nate’s Ice cream, some very impressive times put up at the “Fastest Flat-Fix” tent (even by our very own Executive Director!), and a Bike-Toss contest full of competitors of all ages!
Popcorn was popped, drinks were sipped, and lots of fun in the sun was had by all! Thank you again to every person who came out to remind us why the Community Cycling Center’s work continues to be so meaningful. Bikes bring people together and enable fun! Everyone, regardless of background and current circumstances deserves to experience the joy and positive impacts that bicycles can bring.
An extra special thank you to all of our volunteers and business supporters who made this event possible. Volunteers did an amazing job at running all of the games and thanks to our business partners, we were able to ensure this was a free event for everyone to attend!
