Volunteers Make a Difference Every Day
Today, the nation celebrates Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s life and legacy as a Day of Service—committing to building and strengthening our local communities. It’s a time to remember that hope, passion, community organizing, and the dream of a just world can create change. Individual actions matter.
We at the Community Cycling Center would like to take a moment to celebrate the people who show up in our communities, today and every day. In looking back over the past year, 527 amazing humans donated over 6,000 volunteer hours to support our mission. Your partnership has such a positive and powerful impact on the people we serve. We are grateful beyond words.
There is no shortage of barriers to achieving justice. Change is neither comfortable nor easy. But you, our volunteers and community members, make a difference every day you show up. The evidence is all right here on our Flickr page.
Stay warm. Ride safe. Happy Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day!
