Cycle Quest ~ Volunteer Shift

We’re looking for volunteers to help with Cycle Quest, our bike scavenger hunt around Portland, on Saturday, August 29! The shifts are:

Set-Up & Check-In (9:30–11:30 AM)
We’re looking for 2 volunteers to help with event set-up, participant check-in, and getting riders ready for the hunt!

Challenge Stop Volunteers (2 hours between 10:30-3pm) 
Most of our volunteer needs are at the scavenger hunt stops located throughout Portland. We will have approximately 6 stops and are hoping to have at least two volunteers at each location so you can support one another and take breaks as needed. At this shift you will facilitate a fun activity or challenge for participants (we will give you the info and supplies needed), award points/tokens based on challenge completion, and distribute the next clue in the scavenger hunt.

Shift times will vary depending on your assigned stop, but you can expect to volunteer for approximately 2 hours (between the hours of 10:30 – 3 pm).

After your shift, join us at the Cycle Quest after-party! Volunteers will receive free raffle tickets and a few additional goodies as a thank-you for supporting the event.
