The Shoe-Ins take home the trophy at Transportation Trivia
By Melinda Musser, Communications & Marketing Manager
A rowdy crowd joined us at Radio Room last night to test their knowledge of the world’s bike share systems at our 8th edition of Transportation Trivia. With your help, we set a brand new Transportation Trivia record and raised over $4,800 to support our new bicycle library program for underserved communities. Thank you!
The Shoe-Ins, a group comprised of rambunctious transportation wonks from Oregon Walks, PBOT, and Community Cycling Center alumni, rode away at the end of the night with the grand prize trophy tucked into a pannier.
Round two proved to be the most difficult round, with the highest scoring team just answering 3 of the 8 questions. Shout-out to Jessica Roberts for providing this edition of Transportation Trivia with some of the most difficult questions yet. Want to play along at home? Download the PDF and answer key to test your own knowledge.
Thanks to our lead sponsor, Stalk Market (100% compostable products), for generously supporting our event. Thank you Hopworks for the delicious rye beer and to our gracious hosts, Radio Room, for helping with another successful night. Thank you to our friends at BIKETOWN, Modern Domestic, Barista, The Shoe Store, Pine State Biscuits, Radio Room, Portland Streetcar, Nossa Familia, The Wax Skin Spa, and Petite Provence for providing prizes.
