Volunteer with us in 2009

Volunteer drop-in nightOur volunteer program is the best in town, and keeps our hard-working, fun-loving volunteers coming back year after year.

We offer drop-in volunteer nights on Tuesdays for those looking to get their hands dirty. No experience is necessary; we’ll teach you everything you need to know to get you refurbishing and dismantling bicycles with the best of ‘em. In fact, volunteering on Tuesday nights is a great way to get a free bicycle education while helping us prep donated bicycles for our innovative programs.

We also depend on volunteers for special projects like organizing and supporting bike collections, assisting with our Create-a-Commuter programs, helping create window displays, designing publications, and tabling at outreach events.

Volunteer nightOur next volunteer opportunity is at Holiday Bike Drive: The Sequel. You do not need to attend a regularly-scheduled volunteer orientation to participate in this event. To see all of the positions and to learn more, check out our Volunteer Page.

To join our broader volunteer program, and learn about our varied, year-round opportunities, please come down to our next Volunteer Orientation, on Tuesday, Feb. 3rd at 7:00 pm at the bike shop on the corner of NE 17th and Alberta.
