17” Specialized Rock Hopper $385

The front-suspension fork and fat tires make it a fun beginners mountain bike, too. It’s affordable price and three month warranty mean you can feel confident in your purchase.
55cm Trek XO $615
If you’ve been getting more serious about riding fast- and want a sleek bike to zip you through town- this could be the one for you. This Trek XO has a lightweight aluminum frame and was handbuilt in the USA. Have you been wanting to try your hand at cyclocross? Just add some knobby tires and you’ll have an excellent cyclocross bike. The cross season has just begun- you still have time to jump into the action.
Crane bells
You’re a safe cyclist. You already know what kind of clothing is safest, you have great lights, you never forget your helmet. But what about a bell? Bike bells help alert pedestrians and cars to your presence, and they’re a nice way to say hello! to your fellow cyclists. These brass bike bells made by Crane are beautifully designed and cost a mere $12. The brass makes them some of the loudest and sweetest sounding bells on the market.
