On the mend
Our fearless leader, Susan Remmers, the woman who has steered the Community Cycling Center from rocky shoals onto the open sea, is currently out sick. And by out sick we mean medical leave til mid-February.
What does this mean for the Community Cycling Center? Well, we’re glad that she built such a strong team and board. We’re using the systems that she has helped us develop and we are doing just fine holding down the fort in her absence.
Alison Graves, our Director of Community & Programs, is the interim Executive Director and she is working closely with the staff leadership team and our incredible board of directors to provide support, guidance, and financial oversight.
We miss Remmers tons and we are eagerly awaiting her return. Things just aren’t the same around here without her inventive vocabulary and constant (CONSTANT) reminders to think big. Please send your healing thoughts her way this holiday season.
